Jaxon & Easton's Bedroom Makeover
{Part 1}
 If you haven't been introduced to my boys yet, here they are.  Easton is on the left and Jaxon is on the right.  I love these little boys so much.
We decided to do a bedroom makeover for them because their room was pretty much the dark hole of the house.  I'm sure everyone has one of those!  An area of your home that just needs to be lightened up.  Their room needed it really bad.
Our home is a rental, so about the only things we could do is paint and accessorize.  That equals FUN to me!
I'm going to share this bedroom makeover with you in two parts.  I don't want to overload you with too many photos at a time.
 Here is how the room started.  White and Purple...YUK!  It wasn't even a good purple that we could work with.  It was a mauve color.  Not fit for two little boys.  It really made the room dark and uninviting.  They never wanted to be in there.
Don't you just love the old mattresses?! Yikes!
 Let me tell you also how small this space is.  We had two beds set up in there, and  there was literally 2 feet of walking room between the beds and that's it.  We got creative(thanks Pinterest) and did a little bed makeover as well.  I'll share that with you in part two of the makeover.
 Here is a shot of a small closet and a horribly large TV that was just too big for this space.
Jaxon and Easton both gave their input on what color they wanted the room to be.  Lets just say, it would have made the room even more of a hole in the house.  One of the suggestions was black. Ha ha.
Here was the compromise.  Copen Blue by Sherwin Williams.  A nice, light and neutral color for a boys room.
 Here are some pictures of the painting in progress!  So much brighter and lighter already.  I love this color.
Another shot of the other side of the room.
Finally, can you guess what kind of room they wanted?!
Can't wait to share the finished room with you.  Stay tuned.
